Kerstin and Holger selling out

So, April 16th will be our first big fundraising gig. And when I say "gig", I mean literally gig. My mom is organizing a huge neighborhood yard sale. Besides us using this opportunity to sell off all of our stuff, we will try to raise money by doing two things: Kerstin will be doing something she is really really good at: Bake cakes and trade those for donations. I on the other hand will be buskin' with my guitar and my cowboy hat. It might be slightly emberassing. Not because I can't sing. Yesterday we started an intensive course in spanish. Me llamo Holger. Yo soy de Alemania, de Frankfurt. Qué tal? The teacher asked us "What country are you learning spanish for?" and when I replied: "Belize" he said: "Makes a lot of sense, since everyone speaks English there". Well, we'll see. According to Wikipedia, there are a lot of spanish speakers there. Plus it's fun. And we're planning to travel to Guatemala, Mexico and possibly spend the second leg of our journey in a spanish speaking country. Hasta la próxima! Holger

So, we figured it would be kind of sad to visit very beautiful places like Belize and Central / Latin America without some proper camera equipment. And since our old cam recently broke, we went on amazon and ordered some equipment: Canon EOS 550d DSLR body Canon 18-135 lens Canon 50mm lens Crumpler Bag LCD covers SD-Cards Panasonic Lumix Point-n-Shoot Digicam Most of the stuff arrived today. So - playtime! :-)
